Quick Search: How to conduct a basic search in the Portal

From the Portal home page, you can conduct a basic “Quick search” of Unified’s PTAB and Patent databases.

To conduct a PTAB search, ensure that the “PTAB Quick Search” is selected in the search bar and then simply type in your desired search term. The drop down box on the left-hand side of the search bar allows you to search by Case Number, Petitioner, Patent Owner, or Patent Number. See Figure 1.

You can also use the Quick search bar to search the Patent database. Following the sames steps as above, simply select “Patent Quick Search” and enter the search term. The Patent Quick Search allows you to search by Patent Number or Patent Owner. See Figure 2.
